St. Vincent de Paul/Betty Chinn Say Volunteers Needed to Help Restore Diginity

The new Shower Facilities for the Homeless are open on Tuesday, Thursda, & Saturday mornings from  9 am to Noon. Over 700 showers have been enjoyed since it opened on May 11th. More Volunteers are needed to expand the hours so those needed a shower won’t have to wait a day or two. If  you’d like to volunteer in the future,  more than likely, you’ll get to work with Betty Chinn, and share the experience of  helping others.  Volunteers need to commit to one day a week, OR one day a month for a 3 hour shift.  Visit first and then decide.  You’ll like it!  

If you’d like to volunteer,  please contact Lisa Bethune at 822-7923.  We still need men’s underwear 34-44 & T-shirts.  You can put any donations in the Buckland Box in the entrance to the church.
